not long ago someone faved one of my deviations and I, like most of you I suppose, was kinda happy about that... so I sent a note to my fella deviant with my thanks, BUT I didn't knew at the time that he was kinda TIRED of people thanking him when he fav something and even WROTE a journal about it... ...I felt LI-KE-AN-I-DI-OT :ohnoes: and even apologized to him though he wasn't mad at me
I haven't given thanks aloud again ever since :ohmygod:
Anway, if you don't like having and endless list of "thanks for the fav" on your front page, feel free to use this crappy stamp on your journal and be nice and tell me if you do :)

I read a lot of complaints about that in the forum actually, though no one pays attention to them ^^;
maybe a stamp like this one help them somehow :)

Great stamp! I'm one for not having people thank me for giving them a favorite...at least not for every favorite I give (maybe if I've given them a few :+fav:s in one sitting, but not for once in a while).

but I think it's ok if you don't want that, I guess its the fact that they have time to come to your gallery and write that but they don't even look at one of your works before they leave, many deviants dislike that :D

i dont understand whats wrong with thanking someone for a fav, i think compliments should be thanked...its like someone saying hey i like that dress you wearing its my fav, and then just ignore the comment...i dunno, maybe i'm too new at this lol
